Bring your own suitable power boat and book the main lake for waterskiing or wakeboarding, with a full slalom course ready to enjoy.
Our main lake measures 760 metres long and 100–180 metres wide, with a concrete boat ramp and a world-class waterskiing slalom course.
Book a session for waterskiing or wakeboarding using your own suitable power boat. All lake hire is subject to availability and the venue’s safety requirements.

Book a morning or afternoon session on the main lake and bring your own boat and suitable equipment. This is self-service lake hire for experienced users and covers the main lake only—not the wider venue.
- Two sessions daily: dawn–1pm and 1pm–dusk
- Maximum of two bookings per session
- BYO boat, equipment and required safety gear
- Users must understand and follow all relevant Maritime New Zealand rules
- The lake is a dog-free zone
- An online health and safety disclaimer must be completed with every booking
- All use is at your own risk
- Health and Safety induction required
