Two cable systems for beginners through to advanced riders, with adjustable speeds and guidance to help you progress at your own pace.
Our two cable wakeboarding systems cater to children and adults, from first-time riders through to those ready to practise more advanced skills. The adjustable speeds make learning feel comfortable and controlled, without the wakes created by a boat.
Experienced operators are there to guide each session, making it a fun and supportive way to try wakeboarding or waterskiing and build confidence on the water.

When it comes to getting on the water Backpaddock Lakes is tough to beat. Two cable systems makes it pretty unique — they’ve got something for everyone. Throw in the atmosphere and the people, and the place is worth every bit of the adventure.
Overhead pulleys and cables with wakeboard ropes and handles tow riders along the lake. Speeds are fully adjustable, so beginners and advanced riders can share the same system.
Helmets with built-in two-way radios are available for hire, so riders can hear coaching from instructors on the spot — quicker results, and real peace of mind for parents and less confident first-timers.
Private group cable wakeboarding is $300 an hour (minimum one hour). That includes a staff member, one side of the cable park, and 1-to-1 coaching for each rider — plus lifejackets, helmets and wakeboards.
Generally 1–4 people works well for a one-hour booking, as riders usually take a 15-minute turn. Choose the beginner cable or, for the daredevils, the advanced course.
Email us and include how many hours you’re after, plus a few date ideas — staff are limited, so we’ll check the calendar and find a slot that works.
